From nearby Belsize, up Primrose Hill, & through the canals to Camden Loch. A Summery London scene on some of the hottest days of the year.
The walk into central Camden via a hazy park in Belsize (pavement plaques marking the Belsize Trail), under the bridges, on the towpaths, and detouring to Primrose Hill to view the skyline. Not aiming for anywhere in particular, we came across Primrose, it was a good walk up and back again.
The 'Chinese House' to the left, there are large 'boat houses' of this type on the Thames at Hampton Court, but this one is smaller. Atmosphere: built up greenery, sizzling water, and plumes of heat waving through the air, birds, people, brightness, colour.
